I've been absent from deviant for a while, I don't have the greatest of patience to upload and think of individual titles - and once i'm gone for a little while I felt that it was too late to come back... But here I am. This year is proving a busy one, and i've been concentrating on my uni work hence the absence. For those that have added me to their watch lists and commented and favourited whilst i was away i'm very thankful to - it has not gone unnoticed. Hopefully with the dawning of the degree show and my final hand-ins I shall be shooting things to keep my mind happy, and so i will no doubt share with all those that care to view. Toda

On a mission to do more with my work than just meander along making pretty pictures, whether it works or not is another story but i'm very determined to do what I want to. The pressure is on now to consider post-graduation plans and its a very worrying prospect to not have the studio, c-41 machine and the library at my fingertips, as well as the protective cushion that is being able to say 'i'm a student' which incidentally is the same thing as saying 'I live in a bubble.' As the Academic year draws to a close, I have found myself feeling more and more free to choose what I want to do. Although technically I should be doing what I choose in my uni projects, I have discovered some things that have shown me that I'm not really following the path I want to follow... And so now I am taking a slight sabbatical or holiday-type thing to learn and to really see what and how I want to do things. I feel that already i'm thinking in a new way, and as I sorted through my website yesterday I paired images differently and preferred previously rejected photographs.
